Interesting setup.

...I would have gone with the Sao Paulo instead of the Valiant for a Defiant variant, but that's me.

Though on that topic, I also consider the Sao Paulo as the 'definitive' Defiant Upgrade, going fully into the Warship profile the type is known for. The Adamant is more a Terran Empire version, and turns it into a covert strike craft.

I love these sheets.  They are making my play of the game so much easier.  Keep up the good work.  If I may offer one point of feedback though.  You have the alpha and beta quadrants named wrong.  The Breen and Cardassia are in the alpha quadrant and Romulans and Klingons are in the beta quadrants.  You may want to just switch the names of those two quadrants.

Overall this is a very solid product and am enjoying the little touches you put in to make playing the game easier.

I love these sheets, but is it possible to get them in a Form Fillable Version?

Hello! Thank you very much! I looked at this as a possibility, but it seemed daunting with 90+ ships, and requiring each sheet to do that. I've also needed to look at some YouTube videos to better understand the process in Adobe Acrobat. I will likely get to this during the summer, as I have done most ships people want at this point.

In the meantime, I'm wrapping up this project, which will hit Itch soon! https://www.reddit.com/r/startrekadventures/comments/1c3wdkw/print_and_play_mast...

I absolutely love the new V5b! Only issue I have is a minor issue I've had since the first version; in order to get it to print properly in booklet format on letter size pages is to print it at 120% zoom because for some reason Adobe Acrobat Reader keeps wanting to size the booklet format with massive margins by default. Printing in full letter size doesn't seem to have these massive margins, only booklet format.

Thank you! Yeah this has been really weird, I've noticed this issue on Mac as well.

I've created this in Affinity Publisher and have seen these margin issues both printing through Affinity and using Mac's print dialogue, too. I even tried to save as a PDF in the print, then zooming in on that. It's bizarre. I'll continue to look into this!

I have two questions for you.

1. Would it be possible to make a printer 'friendly' version of the log file so you won't have to send multiple tasks to printer to sort out the unwanted ships?
2. I can't see it but I might be overlooking it, what about the shuttle stats, is that listed somewhere?

Thanks you and I really like what you did and I hope to see (many) more updates!

Great questions!

Alt Document Setup

You know, it's tough, because I'm making this to be self-service, I have to have a careful balance between 'how much a user understands photo/document editing' and 'how plug and play the document is'.

I opted for a delete method so that you could remove the pages you didn't want first- it should be an easy print job. I just recommend copying/duplicating the document beforehand, so that you don't delete all the ships. :)

A previous commenter asked about the possibility of setting up the ships as I did the shuttles. I'm trying to wrap my head around making a version of this!

Shuttle Stats

There's a funny balance between whatever I've provided, and the ability for y'all to make on your own. I by no means want to step on anyones toes, especially about ships that are very important to you.

With most ships that were net-new to CL, I attempted to make as natural an update as possible. There, however, has been no information on shuttles. Personally, I've made a bunch of stats, and I'm welcome to include those.

They will likely be included in a second document to accompany the core sheet, so that you can include/change it as you see fit.

On that note, I'm also looking at making a ship digest for all the main ships, too. Those are pulling from the same Excel file that the current pages do, however they also have an additional 'suggested talents' section, so that those who have a Spinal Phaser Lance or similar, you'll have it as an option to consider.

Thanks very much! I hope you enjoy!

Thanks for your reply!

I realized this morning that yesterday it is possible to print it as just one task, as you can just list all the pages you want to print into 1 task. So no idea what I did yesterday!
I did make a PDF version of pages 1 and 2 and then 80 through 96 for easy printing next time I need it, if you want I can share that version with you.

When it comes to the shuttles I was looking for general stats as an example without remembering that I own the  Utopia Planitia Starfleet Sourcebook and the stats are in there so again a mistake from my end, sorry about that!

If you need any information from that book about any of the ships let me know and I can see if I can either scan it in or take a picture of that page or anything.

Again thank you very much for the hard work you've done!

Thank you! I'm glad we're making that print easier for you!

No problem! I will certainly be including shuttles, as there are slight differences between the ships. That would be super helpful! Send me a page or two of the shuttles if you get time. I have the command book, so I've seen a couple shuttles, but not many.

Cheers man!

No problem! I took a couple of pictures of the shuttle pages because I don't have access to a scanner at this time.

I hope these images are fine, if not I'll take the book to a location where I can just scan the pages in.

P.S. I hope these links works

Would you be willing to share a jpeg or png file of the blank ship pages for anyone who might want to photoshop their own choice of ship?

(+1)

Absolutely! I’ll update the file to include that!

(+1)

Awesome! I recommend doing a PNG, and having it as a separate optional download like you did with the shuttles. Loving your work!

Thank you!
